A Delightfully Fresh Amenity: The Quivira Los Cabos Farmer’s Market

We’re excited to announce a new amenity for our Los Cabos properties: the Quivira Farmer’s Market, which can be found every Thursday in the Quivira Los Cabos Development, near the serene Amakiri Botanical Garden. With its assortment of organic products, prepared food stalls, and artisanal crafts, the market is a celebration of local culture and culinary artistry. It’s an unexpected amenity that makes for a delightfully easy — and fruitful — outing for Pueblo Bonito Resort guests.

Enjoy a lunch that’s a little different and offers a taste of local delicacies. The Holy Bread Bakery is a family-run establishment that brings a taste of homemade goodness. Their empanadas and tamales are made by hand without preservatives. They also offer vegan, gluten-free muffins and cookies

Soleil takes your taste buds on a culinary journey. The French-style bakery adds a touch of European flair with its exquisite croissants, macaroons, pies, and cakes. Sate your sweet tooth and feed your cravings as you walk along stalls. You'll find vendors of all kinds with their goods displayed under the shade of white tents. If you already had your meal at one of Pueblo Bonito’s many restaurants, you can pick up a few delicious items to sample in your guest room or take back home.

Blanco Pomelo specializes in organic peanut and almond butters, locally sourced wildflower honey from Santiago and Miraflores, and vanilla from Veracruz. These artisanally made treats offer a delicious reminder of Los Cabos’ bounty and make thoughtful gifts for friends and family.

Mezcal enthusiasts will find a haven in Carla Ramirez Garcia's Mezcal DENUVI. The mezcal on display is a true artisanal spirit from Oaxaca treated to a double distillation in copper stills. The collection includes a range of flavors from the five different types of agave used, including the smoky espadin, sweet tobala, herbal and citrusy tepeztate, bold and smoky jabali, and the pleasantly refreshing bicuishi — said to smell like the air after a rain. Garcia also sells traditional mezcal glasses and other related goods.

Meanwhile, El Señor de los Tepaches introduces visitors to tepache, a traditional fermented drink made from pineapple rind that’s been consumed since pre-Colombian times for its beneficial digestive, detoxifying, and diuretic properties. The engaging proprietor, who hails from Sinaloa, can make your sweet or spicy citrus drinks to order.

A number of personal care items offer a touch of nature for your self-care. Nui, which translates as “abundance” in the Maori language of New Zealand, offers a range of organic products, including body mist, room fresheners, sunblock, lavender-scented body cream, and hand soap. You certainly won’t miss any forgotten toiletries when you stop by their stall.

Beyond food and toiletries, you can return with a unique handcrafted décoration for your home. There is a wide selection of items for the home that blend authentically made goods with modern aesthetics. Concre Ativa offers an assortment of serving dishes and figurines made with sand from La Paz combined with acrylic resin. At the market, you’ll also find hot plates from Guanajuato made with colorful hand-painted tiles and adorned with cork feet, handmade concrete candle holders, clay pieces from Oaxaca, Italian linen, mezcal cups made from seed pods, and vibrant doorstoppers. Or you can keep the look of your décor natural, simple, and elegant with natural onyx, marble, and other beautiful minerals brought from Puebla and Oaxaca.

Before heading back to a day of more active pursuits, consider taking a moment for your well-being and relax amid the natural surroundings. Under the shade of a large palapa, spiritual practitioners offer chakra realignment and mini-massages.

As the market gains momentum, you can expect an increasingly varied selection of offerings, including fresh fruit and vegetables that will add to the already stellar culinary experience at Pueblo Bonito Resorts. A visit to the Quivira Farmer’s Market is an experience that will engage all your senses and enrich your stay.

The seasonal market opened in October and will run through May. It’s open to Pueblo Bonito guests and Quivira Los Cabos residents every Thursday from 8am to 2pm.
