Pueblo Bonito Vantage San Miguel de Allende to Offer Curated Guest Experiences

Cradled in the heart of Mexico’s central highlands, Pueblo Bonito Vantage San Miguel de Allende has been designed to complement the city’s rich architectural heritage—and offer guests a series of on-site and off-site experiences designed to create special memories.

Scheduled to open in 2024, the new property, which marks the debut of the Pueblo Bonito’s Vantage luxury brand, will take its place in an enchanting colonial city designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Pueblo Bonito Vantage San Miguel de Allende will be the hospitality company’s first ultra-luxe, European plan urban hotel, with beauty and elegance displayed throughout its public spaces and guest rooms.

The neo-colonial, hacienda-style hotel will unite local traditions with personalized service and singular experiences. The experiential component is a key part of the hotel’s DNA. Curated guest experiences will tap into the city’s storied architecture, thriving arts scene, cultural celebrations and culinary experiences.

V Life Experiences, loosely patterned after the successful Q Life program at Quivira Los Cabos, will enable guests and residents to partake in a variety of activities in and around San Miguel de Allende. V Life offers a variety of programming based on gastronomy, culture/art, history, and nature/lifestyle.

Among the weekly activities at the hotel are:

  • Painting or sculpture classes with a local artist
  • Sommelier-guided tasting of wines sourced from top local vineyards, paired with artisanal cheeses and bread
  • Guided meditation with soothing music and aromatherapy
  • Cooking classes, prefaced by a visit to a local market
  • Spanish language immersion
  • Wellness classes (yoga, pilates, stretching, power flex)
  • Children’s Club – fun activities to occupy children while their parents explore San Miguel de Allende and its environs
  • Tequila tasting
  • Chef to the Fire – A unique show featuring dinner, music, and wine all while savoring stunning views of San Miguel de Allende

Each experience will be scheduled on a fixed day of the week and will be offered at an additional charge.

Special one-of-a-kind experiences outside the hotel will also be available at an additional charge to guests, including:

  • Guided walking tours of San Miguel de Allende – Immerse in the history and culture of this magical city with an expert tour guide
  • Thermal Waters – Three locations offer healing thermal waters: Escondido Place, La Gruta (spa) and the Xote Aquatic Park
  • All-terrain vehicle tours along part of the original Independence Road between San Miguel de Allende and historic Dolores Hidalgo, with lunch in the mountains
  • Visit a local bee farm, with the opportunity to observe the process of collecting honey among mesquite trees; includes lunch at the farm
  • Horseback riding along the trails of the physiographic border between volcanic Mesoamerica and the semi-desert of northern Guanajuato; includes rappel descent, highland food, and activities at rural ranches

There are many others planned including spiritual hat making at Suki Palomina’s downtown workshop, hot air ballooning, and two special wine experiences at Viñedos Tres Raíces, one of the region’s finest wineries.
